Short introduction

Reducing pollutants, especially CO2 emissions, is one of the most actual problem, since it slows down the global warming. Buying CO2 free product with ecolabel in one of the EU countries can be unsustainable since you don’t know how much pollutants it was emitted during the production process somewhere in the other part of world. The evaluation of productivity of economic activity is usually defined through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach which uses an open loop methodology characterized as “cradle-to-grave” or “cradle-to-cradle” approach which attempts to reach 100 percent utilization of all type of wastes.
